He is currently in training with Gay McCall, a classically trained dressage rider. Zip is showing the trainability that has made the R line famous.Routinier has been No. 2 in his registry for producing the most Premium foals for GOV in NA.Routinier’s sire, Rohdiamant, was Champion Stallion at the 1992 Oldenburg approval and passed his performance test with a score of 150.01 in the partial index for rideability. In 1994 he was awarded the Main Premium in Oldenburg. Successful up to Grand Prix, Rohdiamant has sired over 40 licensed sons, including champion stallions and 73 State Premium mares. Rohdiamont is said to be the best son of Rubenstein, which is quite a compliment.|

| Routinier is talented for dressage with the Rohdiamont/Rubenstein bloodline and for jumping with Zeus and Inschallah (2x). Routinier’s mother line is exceptional with some of the top-rated premium mares for successive generations. Zip’s mother is by Rolando, a full brother of the Dutch jumper Armstrong who received a 9 in the approvals for jumping. Rolando was Vice Champion of 5-year-olds with the Oldenburg Verband and sired the international Grand Prix dressage competitor, Ranier, shown by Robert Dover to Team Bronze in Sydney.
