"Winter" is an imported Hanoverian mare with classic breeding. She has a 3/4 brother, Wendehals, standing in Celle with the impressive breeding point index of 137 points, based on mare studbook inspections. Wendehals was second in the performance class. Winter's mother was a States Premium mare by Einblick, a dressage stallion, who won his stallion testing. Her father, Wendenburg, was reserve champion of the korung in Verden.

Winter's Walldorf-sired filly, Winsome, is owned by Stone Crop Farms, owners of Walldorf, and will produce her first foal by Rolling Stone in May of 2002.
