"Rose"
is the dam of a Walk on Top colt named Fortune
Smiles born on June 12, 2000 and an Iroko colt, Viroko
OHS, born on May 5, 2002. She is a granddaughter of the Argentine Triple Crown winner, Forli. Forli stood at Claiborne Farm and was an influential broodmare sire. He was a multiple stakes winner, started 10 times, won nine and was second once. He is considered the Argentine version of Cigar. Forli is the sire of the famous racehorse, Forego. He has carved out a permanent niche in the history of American Racing along with Secretariat, Citation and Kelso. His feat of being voted champion sprinter, middle distance and long-distance horse in the same year may never be equaled. It is something perhaps a racehorse achieves once every hundred years! Forli is also the grandsire of Prince Thatch xx, the sire of many high priced auction horses in Germany. High rideability, correct conformation and rhythm is the hallmark of this wonderful typey stallion. Prince Thatch xx ranks #9 on the VhW list in Germany. Prince Thatch is the dam sire of Hilltop's new stallion, Royal Prince by Rohdiamont. Rose has good conformation, substantial
bone, and is a very good mover. She stands 16.2+ hands.
