Patrick Henry is a handsome solid dark bay gelding. His sire, Prince Optimus, has a fabulous pedigree -- Pinkus, Garibaldi II, Matcho X and Grenadier. Garibaldi II is the dam sire of E.T., one of the world's best jumpers, ridden by Hugo Simon.

Both grandmothers are States Premium mares. Prince Optimus's full sister, SPS Pamina, is the dam of Wakajama, the 3 Year old German National Dressage Champion (Bundeschampion) in 2001.

Prince Optimus received 9.33 on rideability and 9.0 on jumping.

Patrick is very correct in his foundation with an uphill neck set. He has good suspension and a beautiful trot and canter. He has an easy going attitude towards work. He carries a saddle on the lunge line and is bridled. He is a 2-year-old so will not be ridden for another year, but this youngster is uncomplicated and a sweetheart. He'll be an enjoyable partner in any of the Olympic sports.

His sire, Prince Optimus, is showing at 4th Level and Prix St. George. He will continue to compete in eventing, moving up to Training Level.

Patrick has a Certificate of Pedigree from the AHS so the owner will be eligible to compete for all AHS Year-End Awards.
